About Giny Robles, CPA, EA, CTRC

I'm Giny Robles, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), and Certified Tax Resolution Consultant (CTRC), licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states

I founded Robles Tax Solutions in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2019, after more than 20 years working as an accountant.

The CTRC credential is awarded by the Tax Rep Network (TRN) to practitioners who complete advanced training specifically in IRS representation, including audits, collections, offers in compromise, innocent spouse relief, and payroll tax problems. Combined with my CPA license and EA credential, this means I can represent you at every stage of a tax problem: preparing and correcting returns at the root of the issue, negotiating directly with the IRS, and building a long-term financial plan that keeps the problem from coming back.

Why I focus on tax resolution

Tax resolution is where clients need more than a completed return. They need someone who can step into the stress with them, make sense of the notices (a CP504, a Notice of Intent to Levy, whatever landed in the mailbox), communicate directly with the IRS, and build a plan to stop the bleeding and get back on solid ground. Early in my career, I realized that helping someone untangle years of fear and confusion was the most meaningful work I did. That's why I built my practice around it.

Who I help

  • I represent individuals and business owners across the country dealing with:

  • Unfiled tax returns, sometimes going back multiple years

  • Back taxes and unpaid liabilities with the IRS or NC Department of Revenue

  • Wage garnishments, bank levies, and federal tax liens

  • IRS passport certification and revocation (seriously delinquent tax debt that's keeping you from renewing or getting a passport)

  • Trust Fund Recovery Penalty cases

  • IRS and state audits

  • IRS Appeals and Collection Due Process hearings

How I work

Every case starts with a full financial analysis, using the same collection standards the IRS itself applies, before I recommend a path forward. Depending on your situation, that might mean an Offer in Compromise (OIC) to settle for less than you owe, a full-pay or partial payment installment agreement (PPIA), currently-not-collectible (CNC) status, stopping a wage garnishment or bank levy, releasing or withdrawing a federal tax lien, penalty abatement, an IRS Appeals or Collection Due Process hearing, or resolving a passport certification issue. I tell clients upfront what's realistic for tax debt relief in their specific situation, not what sounds best in a sales conversation.
